Democrat Abbas Alawieh has won Michigan's 2nd State Senate District, according to an Associated Press race call reported by Movement Voter Project.
The organization's results page lists the AP call at 12:59 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4, Michigan time. It explicitly identifies Alawieh as the winner.
