CAIR urges Election Day voting plans and reports preliminary early-voting figures

The Council on American-Islamic Relations urged Muslim voters and other eligible Americans who have not voted to make a plan for Tuesday, November 3. In a November 2 statement, CAIR urged them to check registration, polling locations, hours and identification requirements through Muslims.Vote and official state and local election resources.

CAIR said preliminary November 1 estimates, produced with Molitico, identified 88,148 people on its 250,099-person outreach list who had already voted early or by mail, or 35.2%. The figures exclude Sunday and Monday early voting and remain subject to further county reporting. In six states with complete historical voting-method records, people on the list had cast 24% more early or mail ballots than the same voters cast that way during the entire 2022 midterms, the organization said.

The organization reported more than 2.1 million text sends and advertising impressions so far, including repeated contacts and ad views, not that many individual voters. It also said its exit poll with CAIR Action was reaching early voters on Monday and would continue on Election Day. CAIR said a final Election Day text was scheduled for Tuesday and advertising would continue through the close of polls.
