Track AIPAC urges Election Day votes for its endorsed candidates

Track AIPAC urged voters in the United States on November 3 to vote for its endorsed candidates in the midterm elections. In a post published under the name AIPAC Tracker, the group said its candidates had refused money from AIPAC and its allies and were committed to ending what it described as genocide in Gaza and the flow of U.S. weapons fueling it.

The post included a graphic listing 57 candidates for the U.S. House and Senate. Among them were Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan, Rashida Tlaib in Michigan, Ilhan Omar in Minnesota and Adam Hamawy in New Jersey.

Track AIPAC describes itself as a grassroots effort to document and counter the influence of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and the broader pro-Israel lobby on federal officials. Its website says it supports candidates who refuse that lobby’s support and back a foreign policy based on human rights and international law.

The website identifies Citizens Against AIPAC Corruption as the organization paying for the project and says its work is not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee. It says its tracking covers federal campaign contributions and independent spending using Federal Election Commission data. The group advocates a permanent ceasefire and an arms embargo, Palestinian rights and statehood, and overturning Citizens United.
